    Find historical, botanical, agricultural, and culinary information in profiles of plants and animals alongside vivid images and illustrations. Bibliographies are included within each profile to deepen your own research and resource library.

    Our first edition features the Black and Indigenous stories of 5 regions in what is now known as the Southern United States through profiles of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Virginia.

    Alongside these places are features on 14 Black chefs, farmers, and cooks from across the country including Abby Fisher, Georgia Gilmore, and many more!

  • Recipes to pair with Plants & Animals Booklet

    Our first collection of recipes can be used for cooking demonstrations and classes, and include small excerpts about the history or culinary uses of the featured plant.
